  • Trauma and the Brain

    This training will explore how trauma impacts the brain, how the brain develops, and how to utilize skills to move people from the survival brain (am I safe) to the emotional brain (am I loved) to the thinking brain (how do I solve the problem). We will break it down using metaphors in a simple model to explain sessions with clients, parents, your partner, teachers other therapists.

  • Vicarious Trauma

    Did you know that a trauma therapist is burned out in 7 years? This training will help you to understand on a deeper level what is vicarious trauma, our vulnerabilities to it and how to protective ourselves.

  • Self Compassion & Empathy: Fighting Shame in Families

    This training explores shame, shame triggers and how they impact family, couples and individual work. This training will utilize Brené Brown’s research as well as Conscious DisciplineTM to bring together the brain and shame in an innovative way to guide clients to reach their therapy goals.

  • Braving Loss w/ Teens

    This training will focus on how to work with teens dealing with losing a loved one by suicide. Including grief activities, creating rituals, and working through the "what-ifs."

  • Courageous Conversations in Leadership

    Developed on the research of Brené Brown, this workshop is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to become a braver, more daring leader. This workshop will combine brain information as well as Brené Brown work to build on a culture of connection.

  • How to Start a Kick Ass Internship Program

    This training will outline the CHC internship program. This will include how to on-board a new intern, structuring the program, understanding our internship/Pre-Licensed Manual, checklists, assessments and creating a culture of community where power within because a natural learning environment.

  • Living BIG: Boundaries, Integrity and Generous Assumptions

    Leadership is a complex dance and something that is not taught to us as clinical therapists. This training will give help give you the skills to be an authentic leader. “Living BIG is saying: Yes, I’m going to be generous in my assumptions and intentions while standing solidly in my integrity and being very clear about what’s okay and what’s not okay.
